Foster Wallace recently settled a case for $2,300,000 for a man injured while riding his motorcycle in Kansas City, Missouri in Spring 2024. That evening our client was driving his motorcycle through a green light when a separate driver failed to yield the right of way to our client by attempting to make a left turn in front of our client, causing a violent wreck.

The at-fault driver was drunk at the time of the wreck and refused a breathalyzer. As a result of the wreck, our client sustained a fractured femur, a fractured wrist, and an ankle dislocation (among other injuries). Our client spent a little over two weeks in the hospital for his injuries. Foster Wallace successfully leveraged the facts of the case, including the seriousness of the injuries and the at-fault driver’s inebriated state, to settle the claim for policy limits without a lawsuit. Our client is thrilled with the result.
